We recommend trying their Bocado sampler (mixed ceviche), Lomo Saltado (sautéed steak), and Anticucho de Pulpo (grilled octopus).

Bocado Ceviche Sampler

We ordered the Bocado ceviche sampler, so that we can try all three:
  • Clasico: Catch of the Day, Classic Leche De Tigre, Green Onions, Cilantro, and Peruvian Corn

  • Ceviche Mixto: Mixed Seafood, Rocoto Leche De Tigre, Red Onions, Avocado, and Peruvian Corn

  • Limeño De Tuna: Aji Amarillo Peppers, Leche De Tigre, Peruvian Corn, Red Onions, and Tuna

What is "Leche De Tigre"? Also known as "tiger's milk", it's a vibrant & citrus-based marinade that's used to cure the fish for making classic Peruvian ceviche. Peruvian ceviche is simply a perfect harmony between different textures and flavors.

The Leche De Tigre from the ceviche at Bocado is fresh, refreshing, tangy, and not too acidic.

Lomo Saltado

Did you know? Lomo Saltado is a popular Peruvian comfort food that combines both Andean & Asian flavors. Lomo Saltado is a wok stir-fried beef tenderloin with onions, tomatoes, french fries, and rice.

The Lomo Saltado at Bocado was cooked medium-rare, tender, and extremely flavorful. The sweet and tangy sauce will keep you coming back for more.

If you're looking for one of the best Lomo Saltado dish in the bay area, you need to try it at Bocado.

Anticucho de Pulpo

Pulpo

What is Anticucho de Pulpo? Also known as grilled octopus skewers, Anticucho de Pulpo is a traditional street food that's easily found on the streets of Peru, skewered and grilled to perfection.

Bocado's version of Antichucho de Pulpo consists of crispy fingerling potatoes, mushrooms, huacatay (mint), garlic, milk, cheese, chalaquita (medley of cilantro, onions, and chopped peppers), and chimichurri sauce.

The pulpo was extremely tender, flavorful, and delicious
